I have at least 10 relatives buried at the cemetery and I wish they weren't. I wholeheartedly regret choosing this cemetery for my brother's eternal resting place. They have been neglecting the property for months. my family has complained multiple times and all we get are excuses. They blame the storms or say that their men are doing the best they can but I complained in April well before the first storms that happened in May. yesterday while visiting I witnessed a gentleman mowing his father's grave himself. Woodlawn was not only helpful during this difficult and trying time, but they were also compassionate and caring and went above and beyond making sure myself and the family were taken care of. I would recommend anyone entrust them with their loved ones. I deeply appreciate all they did for my beloved late wife.
Our church friend passed away with instructions to be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery where her parents were buried 20 yrs ago. Becoming her executor I was thrown into the task of suddenly making decisions I was not prepared for nor did I really want to do.
Steve met me on a day the cemetery is closed and explained everything that was required from me in terms of gathering paperwork and information. He was kind, patient and available for another appointment.
