The ambience and service came together and relayed a sense of peace at this place that no other barbershop in Houston can really come close to. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with my barber and found it enjoyable to be able to converse with another Houstonian. The whole experience totally rocked and I recommend this barber to anyone interested in an elegant experience unlike most barbershops here.
Requested style: I requested a short cut, emphasis on and around the ears and sides of the head. The final product was satisfactory.
Wow, what a nice experience! After receiving a certificate for a 7 course service through a fundraising silent auction, I made an appointment and was very impressed with the whole process. After starting with a very tasty adult beverage, I was given a tour and introduced to my stylist, Marissa. She took the time to find out how I wanted my hair cut and truly gave a quality cut. She was very friendly and personable. She also had a very nice touch with the other services - shampoo and scalp massage, facial refresher, neck/shoulder/hand massage, etc. When you add the hot towels and paraffin hand dip, it was amazingly relaxing. The experience when I come in to The Gents Place is always second to none - the atmosphere, the staff, the services, the amenities; it couldn't be more luxurious and welcoming!! Jordyn infallibly sets to with the highest level of skill, professionalism, and flawless execution, all while maintaining engaging, lighthearted conversation that offers a much welcome reprieve from the demands of every day life.
