If the outside was an indication I would have kept going. However, my barber was a kind gentleman. He told me that I can learn from yesterday, live today, and hop for tomorrow. How obsidian that was!
This is a hidden gem in Midtown. I ride my bike over and get an $8 haircut that is actually pretty great from a very nice lady and gentleman. You can't beat it. And I have paid up to $90 bucks for a haircut.
I have been going to Star for over 10 years now. No frills haircut but all thrills given the shady neighbors hanging out outside. Inside the barbers are all nice but some are novice and results will vary. I wait for my favorite, front chair past cashier, who does an excellent job every time. She is quick and easy. If you are looking for esthetic and pretentious, this is not the place for you. If you want a fast, clean, cheap, good haircut this is top choice. Even with tips, I spend 1/4 the price I would at any other place in Houston. $30 For a low ball fade haircut? I don't think so. Will continue to come every other week.Service: Haircut
