I've worn glasses for over thirty years - since I was in the 7th grade - and I don't think I've had a better experience with a prescription than the one I received at Eye Society. I've got nearsightedness - which is improving due to my advancing age - and a very mild astigmatism. Getting progressive lenses that address all of these issues over the last few years has been a real pain in the rear! I was so pleased that this year is different! My prescription is perfect, it doesn't cause headaches (unlike some I've had) and the reading glasses portion works well for me, especially when I'm in choir and have to look both at the director... read full review

I have used Dr Tran for 15 years or so, honestly its been so long I cant even remember when I first became a patient. What I do remember is that prior to her getting her own practice I followed her to each eye clinic she was a part of no matter what area it was located in. That for me that says a lot because I'm a die hard Inner Looper and never leave...that comfort zone, unless I have to. LOLWhat I have always liked best was the one on one time that she spends with her patients to really understand their needs and concerns. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kat that listened to my concerns and gave me back my vision. For years I had to cope with not seeing well enough even after consulting reputable doctors.Dr. Kat took the time and patiently found a solution for my needs: I wear mostly contact lenses and only when I need a little boost I add on top prescription glasses. Her office staff is super friendly and offers a wide range of beautiful glasses frames.
