This building looks nice and the surrounding area is still developing. Some streets were not even on the map. This is 7200 Cambridge. Not sure why Google Maps and Waze took me to the corner of Fannin and Holcombe. That's 1.2 miles away. I didn't want to drive from there because it took me 20 minutes to park and it would take another 20 minutes to get out. So, I walked to my doctor's office. I arrived sweaty and my shirt was wet. I truly got people's attention like I was sick. Hahaha. No. It's the map error. The AC was really cool and refreshing. I don't mind to sit down and take a break. There was a food aroma in the lobby but I couldn't see where the restaurant was. Oh well. I needed to be on a diet anyway. My doctor's office was on 10th floor. The elevator was pretty efficient to get me there. The view of this area from top floor was nice. I didn't mind to come back again.

It was time for a follow up visit with Dr. Wu, my Rheumatologist. I hit my pinky about a month ago and it's been painful and bent. I was told by my primary doctor that my density test was real bad and I need to see an Endocrinologist. So, I was wondering if I broke my finger. He said it wasn't broken because I was still using it, but we'll see what the doctor tells me tomorrow. He told me to continue to take my medication he prescribed. Dr. Wu is a very good doctor. Ten stars. :-)

This is the first time I've had an issue with receiving care at Baylor College of Medicine. I love my PCP who works at the Kirby office. There is never a long wait to be seen and the staff communicate any delays and changes efficiently. However, I am a new patient today with an allergist and am still waiting in the waiting room 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I completed all pre-visit questions online (including paying my co-pay), arrived prior to my appointment time and I am still waiting. I have gone to the check-in desk twice now for an update on the length of the remaining wait. As someone who manages clinics for a living this is unacceptable. *Update*- Ashley the medical assistant and Thomas from the front desk did a great job.
