Justin Henley, who is a professional arborist, came out to my home, gave me an honest evaluation of the oak trees in my back yard, and did not charge me for this service. I appreciate his straightforward advice and clear answers.

Mike Scott and his team from SavATree did an outstanding job at trimming the trees of our homeowner association spread over 3 blocks. A specialist for all types of trees, Mike first examines the trees, answers your questions and makes his recommendations. The tree trimming service followed promptly and was carried out professionally by his team, leaving no stumps on the trees and no trash behind. The quote was competitive and very reasonable for the high quality of the service. I am very happy with the service and I highly recommend it!

SavATree was founded by Ralph Robbins in 1978 with a single objective in mind; to save trees from the devastating effects of repeated defoliations by the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar (Lymantria dispar). While this moth was accidentally introduced into the United States by French entomologist Leopold Trouvelot in 1868, it was not until the late 1970’s that the population exploded in the Northeast. Ralph, a graduate of Paul Smith’s college and entrepreneur at heart, saw an opportunity to make a difference in support of tree preservation and care.
