Every Indian woman has their go-to place for threading, and Anisa’s Beauty Salon is mine. I first discovered the salon in 2017 while I was traveling to Houston for work frequently, and then when I moved to the city during the COIVD-19 pandemic, Manju became my one-stop-shop for threading and waxing.Despite the many times I’ve been here over the last 6 years, Manju always ensures that I’m comfortable with how much she’s taking off my eyebrows (like many Indian women, I prefer mine on the thicker side).
