Allgood remodeled my master bath in Nov 2019 - Feb 2020. There were quite a few issues (that could be a 3 page review alone) that Steve finally came back and fixed in 2021 but we continue to find issues with the work initially done. The guy who made adjustments to a vent was not a licensed plumber and put a temporary clamp on it that came loose and was allowing rain to get into my walls. Their lack of attention to detail as well as using subs that weren’t qualified was ridiculous. Javier was a bright light in the crew but when you’re surrounded by inexperienced and incompetent subs, it’s a recipe for disaster.

Do not use them they cannot be trusted. We hired Allgood Remodeling and Construction (Allgood) as the general contractor to build an addition to our home. This was the biggest mistake my wife and I have ever made, choosing Allgood. The owner, Steve Timani and project manager, Adam Shraim, lied to us about their capabilities and expertise. Every phase of the project had to be reworked due to poor management and sub-par subcontractors. From the construction of the foundation to the flashing on the roof. This project was a total nightmare. The project began in 10/2019 and scheduled to be completed 12/2019, per Allgood’s schedule. During the foundation phase of the project, and after inspection, the subcontractor removed all rebar and crimped a gas line. This could have caused a fire/explosion. Fortunately my wife and I caught this mistake and others, prior to the installation of the concrete. Also, the subcontractor installed the sewer line in the brick ledge. We then found out that Allgood had not hired a licensed plumber. As of 5/2020 the project was not completed. After making numerous promises and lying about schedules, we had to fire Allgood in May 2020. Allgood refused to fix everything that was not installed correctly. The wrong cabinets were installed in the closet, master bathroom and utility rooms. The base board, crown molding, and door trim was not completed. The accent brick wall in the master bedroom was not installed correctly and Allgood refused to fix it. All the stained cabinets had to striped and restained due to the finish remaining sticky and never drying. The cabinets in the utility room had to re-built due to extremely poor workmanship. The cabinets in the master bath had to be completed. All rooms (master bedroom, master bath, master closet, toilet area, family room, living room, utility room) required sheetrock hole repair (wall and ceiling), repaint wall & ceiling. Also, the shower, master bath mirror & linen cabinet doors, master bedroom floor have not been installed. The exterior painting and caulking as well as the electrical and plumbing was not completed. Currently we are in our third week of trying to repair and finish the mess Allgood left at extreme cost. FYI, it does cost twice as much to repair and replace poor workmanship. In addition their subcontractor’s employees came to our home for payment. My advice, do not use Allgood for any construction services. These are only a small amount of the serious problems on this project. Should you request more details please email me at [email protected]. We have pictures of ever issue.

I cannot say enough about this company. From the very first point of contact, to the very last, Adam, Jason and their crews were proffessional, knowledgeable and treated our family and our home with care and respect. We originally selected our own materials from a retail outlet but after visiting Allgood Remodeling and Construction's showroom, we found exactly what we were looking for, which made for an extremely competitive estimate. In our living area and stairway, they installed porcelain tile and laminate flooring, respectively. In our back yard, they built a large finished and shingled pergola and in our kitchen, they installed new cabinets, granite counter tops and...read full review
