As Salaam Alaikum... This Masjid is a small center however, their heart is so big! They feed the 5th Ward neighborhood every Sunday at 1p, they offer CA classes (Cocaine Anonymous), Anger Management, Friday Jumah and Taleem every Sat & Sun at 11:30a. We love visiting this community and cant wait to move to Houston.
5th Ward Islamic Center for Human Development is an excellent center. The congregation cares deeply about each other and the community at large. The center offers social service programs and support to people of all backgrounds. Jumah services are Fridays at 1:30.
People I know that are involved with the Center, are good people with well rounded wholesome attitudes, and go above the plain human expectations, to make positive differences in several communities throughout the city of Houston.
