It was my first time playing here, on a shiny Sunday of February, and the course is beautiful!! ?⛳️ It was not easy course for me but my 1hour driving to get there was absolutely worth it. I enjoyed the nice weather, wonderful river and hill views, and my playing here even the scores are not lovely. ?
Nice golf course. Nice people. Layout is challenging. Front 9 is tough and tight with drives requiring shape. Back 9 is easier and more target golf. Bent grass greens had alot of rough areas on about 6 greens. Not worth $250. Paid $165 on labor day Sunday. Resort concierge got us a deal
Apple Rock is, in my opinion, the best of the Horseshoe Bay Resort courses based on a combination of challenge and beauty. It is not as difficult as Ram Rock, but it is close and much prettier. From the tips, it is a very challenging course with much sand and water.
