Virginia was delightful! She went far beyond my expectations. I myself am a health care worker. I truly believe in a humanistic approach. The way this country's health care system works falls short of that. More pressure on health care providers, less time with patients. All in order to keep business running because we need to make profit in order to provide for families. I love good business. Virginia is definitely an asset. She knows what she's doing and she does it well. The thing is..she doesn't just "do her job." She builds rapport well...and it comes from a genuine place. It takes time to build rapport...as with providing care. There are many health care workers that provide care with no rapport. This is where Virginia set a bar and it truly showed tremendous character. Good business is judged by the character of its workers. Virginia has an awesome personality. She's efficient and well rounded. She was more than a dental hygienist and I was more than her patient...she was Virginia...and I was Grace. We learned a lot about each others' lives. Our animals, families, outdoor hobbies. These connections form relatability and understanding...they show a sense of community. And if a business has that community approach...it is a worthwhile investment to keep going. I just hope Virginia will be my dental hygienist the next time I go. She has definitely made a positive impact. I'd be surprised if she hasn't capped out on pay. If she's made this big of an impact on me...I'd imagine how many other patients she's impacted. Dr.Kana...she's keeping clients and building business. She deserves incentive.

The best dentistry around. I’ve attended Dental Depot of Highland Village since I was 8. They truly make you feel like family. Very caring for my concerns and very professional service. Friendliest and most lively staff. Would recommend to anyone!

This is going to be a long one, y'all. I cannot say enough about Dental Depot for me and my boys, all of us patients. Needless to say, getting my boys to exercise proper dental hygiene can be a struggle, but the hygienists at Dental Depot actually motivate them to do a better job after their visits. The main reason I enjoy going to Dental Depot is the "gentle" and extremely friendly nature of the hygienists and front desk staff (which is a unicorn situation in my opinion when it comes to doctors' and dentists' offices -- usually you get great doctors and meh staff or vice versa). They are super gentle with their cleanings: at other dentists in the past, I feel like they're flossing my teeth with copper wire and I take good care of my teeth so I never understand why such brute force is necessary. One hygienist in particular there (I'm sorry I don't remember your name but if you say Cheetos, you'll know who she is lol), she is GREAT with my teenager and actually convinced him of the need to get braces! Who does that when my son was completely against it? He said he wants them ASAP. What sorcery is this?! :) My younger son fell asleep during his cleaning. Yes, you read it right. Gentle, indeed. As for the staff and the most recent review I read about a young lady having an issue with the front staff... all of the front staff have been helpful and friendly at all times to us, getting us in and out quickly. And they always ask for changes in insurance before the appointment starts, so I'm not sure what happened with this young woman. I happen to know of the individual she's speaking and she is the friendliest, most big-hearted person I know when you walk through the door. She always greets my boys with a huge smile and a hello so infectious that even my at-times-grumpy boys can't help but smile. She always asks us how we are doing when she happens to see us, so I have a sense this was simply a bad day for this young lady. She sounded a bit nervous to begin with, which happens, but that's no reason to give a wonderful place like Dental Depot 2 stars (and the hygienists and dentists there are OCD about wearing masks, shields and proper equipment during cleanings so again, her experience seemed odd). If I could give 10 stars I would! My boys and I will keep coming back!!
