“A little under a year ago the hard drive on my HP laptop failed, out of warranty. I brought it to Amanda, the owner to repair. Fast forward 11 months and my computer refused to start one morning. I took it back to Century Computer to be repaired. I was surprised to learn that Amanda has sold the business. I left it with the new owner whose name I never caught. After a few days I called to see what the status was. They said they'd get bank to me. They called a couple hours later and said it was fixed, and that the hard drive was still under warranty and THERE WAS NO CHARGE! The new owner didn't do the original repair, but nevertheless repaired it at no cost to me. He didn't have to do that, I never would have known.
