Following a stent procedure, I was scheduled to attend a cardiac rehab class. I selected Hunt Regional.
Julie, Elizabeth, & Bruce head up this class with fifteen minutes of weight-bearing exercises, followed by another forty minutes of stationary biking. We then "wind down" following the biking.
When we walk in, they hook us up with heart monitors to wear for the duration of the class. Diabetic patients get finger pricks before and after class, and we all take our blood pressure & 02 saturation values.
