Oh my goodness , I can’t tell you the trouble we’ve had with them , found more mess of their doings yesterday , I guess if you don’t inspect their work you never know the mess they do .
It’s a disgrace the mess they pulled on us ,
Claimed one air conditioner wasn’t registered but they’d stand behind it , well I wasn’t born yesterday , there’s a reason it wasn’t registered !, probably was already registered !!!!can’t prove it but it adds up !!!from the very first summer they put it in
one problem after another , even telling us when switching from one season to another , we’d have to cut the power and then back on .
We are honest people...read full review
I'm new to town and did not know who to call. With a quick Google search I decided to call Greenville heat and air. They had great reviews so it made me feel safe to use them. The issue I was having was my outside unit would not turn on. I gave them a call and thankfully they were able to come same day, The technician seemed friendly and even showed me how to clean my coils. During the time he was cleaning my coils, he commented how dirty they were and that he would have to take the insides out in order to clean the coils from the inside out. I went back inside my house and in an hour later the tech came in and said it needed 2 pounds of Freon. After all was said and done I got a bill for $580 for cleaning the air conditioning coil's, a service charge and to add freon. I confronted the tech and he informed me it actually needed 3 pounds of Freon not two ($75 X 3) . After I paid the bill, I called the office and ask them why it was so high. After I complained they claimed it was a mistake on their end and refunded me $100. I still feel $480 is very expensive for the work received. Fast forward two weeks later, my air conditioner again is not working. The same tech came out and claimed that he has never seen it before, but my fan motor was in pieces and it seemed that someone took it apart. I reminded him that he took the motor out and disconnected all of the wires just two weeks ago. He reluctantly agreed however, he said that he had nothing to do with it breaking. Now I'm out nearly $500 On the condensation unit that it seems like they might have broke. Shockingly, nobody has reached out to me to make it right. *Update* Nobody reached out, so I decided to reach out to them. I spoke with the owner and he accused me of trying to rip him off. He told me that I was trying to get a brand new motor for free. I asked him honestly what he thinks happened and he said the motor was so old it just came apart on its own. I tried to keep it as civil as possible and eventually he offered to install a fan motor for $350 additional money. Unfortunately, I do trust them to work on my system so I declined.
Read a review off internet for them, called them for the first time and thought service was wonderful. Don't have a single complaint one. They came right out and fixed it fast and with no problems.
