Darrell is the best!!! I was in the fire service for 22 years and just got used to having a real shot real tight Flat top haircut. I have only had 4 barbers since I started cutting my hair this way (one passed away then when I found another I liked we moved to Granbury an my Sister takes my nephew's to Pirates den to get their haircuts and saw a gentleman get his Flat top done and she new I would love it and now I am and will remain a permanent customer to Darrell? This is an amazing Barber Shop!!! I happened to be passing through and stopped here. So glad I did. Great service, excellent atmosphere, and very good at his craft. Would highly recommend this place to anyone needing an actual barber!

I always enjoy my visit with Darrel for my bi-monthly haircut. In addition to a great haircut you get to step back in time to an era when the barbershop was a great place for good conversation and bad tv. After moving to Granbury a few years ago, I discovered Pirates Den and found on my first visit that Darrel was not only a good barber but also a sharp witted local historian. There is usually an interesting collection of characters to interact with and I actually look forward to my visit to the barber.
