An elderly resident of the Georgetown area came into to your store on 10/13/24 around 4p-5p, she was riding in a motorized scooter because of her limited ROM. When she asked the cashier, Shelia, to double bag her waters she was ignored. The resident asked again and again she was ignored. When the cashier saw the resident drop her bag out of the basket, she did not acknowledge her or even help to pick up the bag full of groceries. Shelia seems to not enjoy her job very much and with a horrid attitude like that she really should not be working at Walmart!!!! Obviously not my call but maybe you know about this heartless employee. It's frustrating to see or hear about the elderly population being mistreated. The one thing we all have in common is that we all will be elderly one day. Hopefully Shelia can be counseled on how to be a better Walmart employee because she is a horrible human being in the eyes of everyone that had to listen to that heartbroken resident! How truly sad!!!

Warning -- do not purchase money orders from Walmart for online mobile deposits. I purchased money orders from Walmart for decades to mobile deposit my cash with no problems. However, Walmart stopped allowing mobile deposit recently without warning their customers. As a customer courtesy, a simple sign next to the money order ads would have been sufficient to warn me and I would have not purchase it. Also, the salesclerks will not provide receipts, salesclerks are supposed to provide receipts to customers without the customers asking for them, just like an automatic check out machine will print out a receipt without the customer asking for it. To return the money order because mobile deposit is prohibited, I had to wait 10 days to get my refund. Because I was not provided a receipt the store would charge a steep refund fee. This experience shows me the rip-offs and the atrocious customer services from Walmart. I also sent this complaint to the BBB.

I purchased an item for pick up, and drove over 120 miles round trip, only to find out they canceled my order for "suspicious activity" (I had my dog with me and it was too hot to leave him in the car so I couldn't go in). After calling the corporate number, and resolving the issue, I re-placed the order, but it pushed me back in the queue for another hour so I had to cancel because I had somewhere I had to be. Then I called the corporate number to cancel my account and they offered me a $25 promo if I stayed on, so I accepted it. I then drove back to Walmart only to find out that the promo code was for online orders only. THEN, I tried to place the order online AGAIN, but the promo code didn't apply for the item I was trying to purchase. I know Walmart couldn't care less about its customers, but I will never step foot in one again.
