Shout out to Caesar and Matthew at DFW Wildlife and Pest Control! Caesar and his team are the regular pest control guys for our apartment complex and are absolutely amazing. They come once a week and are quick to resolve any issues. I’ve lived here for 3 years and NEVER had an issue with pests (and that can be pretty rare with apartments these days).Last night I noticed what looked like ants or fleas and later leaned I had the beginnings of a pantry beetle infestation—they look like tiny ants that come in under the floor boards and can get into unsealed food and spread quickly. These came out of nowhere and then were suddenly all over my kitchen. SO GROSS. I called...read full review

I care for wild cottontails. I feed, water, shelter, love and protect them. Protect them from what? Predators. They are said to have a thousand enemies. I'm sure its more than that. That's why they need a friend. I have cameras to help. People, please keep your cats from trespassing into everyone else's yards. They kill over 20 Billion wild animals a year, including an every shrinking song bird population. Please don't make me have to deal with your cat killing on my property. They rip baby bunnies to shreds while alive. I'm not going to sit by for that. Other predators include hawks, which I can only shew away when I see them, raccoons, opossums, skunks and snakes. I trap and relocate persistent raccoons and opossums. I've had some persistent skunks as of late, one of which dug a den under my patio concrete. I've only scared them away before, but especially since I have little buns around, I figured I needed to trap and remove this one that set up residence. It went into the trap the first night. It was forecast to be103* that day and I didn't want it to suffer. Neither did I want to try to relocate it. Nothing else to do but put up some cash and have a professional relocate her for me. I looked outside of Yelp. What you find there are national referal companies that have software that insert your location into their website, pretending to be local. After all that trouble, they don't answer. So I looked on Yelp to assure more local. I called several that were a combination of high rated and in my area. After more than a dozen, I just called anyone that seemed to have a big enough business that just to see if I could get any voice at all. I guy in Irving answered. He was helpful, but I was way out of his service area. He gave me some good information. One being that if I called the city they would only kill her. I then got someone just north of McKinney. She was also nice and tried to be helpful but said that everyone was already scheduled up. She suggested I call the city. I said, I heard they just kill. She said yeah probably. I then called the city of Wylie and confirmed, they would kill her. I was a bit upset with the girl from McKinney that she suggested that. Finally, I called Cesar. He wasn't that far away, but had only a few reviews. I found out later that he has too much integrity to ask for reviews and figures if his service is good enough people will do it. That came up only after I told him I was going to be sure to give him a good review. Anyway, I called and...he answered! He not only answered, he said he was doing a job close so he could be here in a half an hour. Fantastic. His price was $150. I know some may think that is expensive, because you are thinking a skunk just isn't worth it. Maybe to you not. In which case you are in your legal right to kill her, limiting your risk of getting sprayed, then remove the dead body. But I just didn't want to do that to her. She seemed a very sweet animal, even though stinky and a predator to my baby buns. I don't think you'll find a price that low from the others. If you think about the truck expense and wear and tear, gas, marketing, tools, cleaning supplies and time, not to mention smell and physical risk, insurance, etc., you wouldn't do it for any less. He arrived when he said he would. He was professional and likeable. He had said on the phone he could take my trap and leave me one of his or return my trap, my choice. When he got here, he realized mine was bigger than his so he said he would return it. He refused payment until he brought my trap back. He cleaned my trap very well too. Since I was working from home, he texted me to let me know when he was returning so I could better make room for him between calls, etc. Just everything you could possibly hope for. Something that crossed my mind was wondering if some companies that claim to be live relocators might actually kill the animal as it would be faster, cheaper and less trouble. I never mentioned the thought, especially after dea
