“ATTENTION LADIES AND YELPERS- Yes, this may be my one and only Yelp I ever put forth, don't discount the legitimacy and I reopened social media's pandora's box again, probably against my better judgement- but impromptu messaged a friend from a decade ago who I know is talented as hell with hair. She owns her own salon now, and had me an appointment within 24 hours and it was truly the best experience I could've hoped for- Completely relaxed, one on one, did maybe 5 minute consultation before getting started- I came in with no point or photos of reference and just said I wanted less hair. She started by shampooing my hair (which I could've sworn was a full blown therapeutic scalp massage by a licensed masseuse- is this how everyone (or all women?) shampoo their heads? Cuz I've been missing out) Anyways. She worked her magic while catching up on conversation, probably less than 30 minutes later I was like 10 pounds of hair lighter and at least 30% more attractive, I gotta say. Biiiiitch, I looked good. Cannot recommend this talented woman enough - Lacey Oliver and her salon - THE SHADE HAUS- @theshadehaus_salon @hairnet_work She is Edwardina Scissorhands in the flesh. This woman knows what she's doing and is a master of her craft, in my opinion.
