Absolutely the BEST vet in Rockport. I have been going to Dr. Mercer for about 15 years. She is compassionate yet truthful. She does what is best for the pet but also does not push expensive procedures that the owner cannot afford. She balances between the two. She is amazing.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Mercer ever since we moved to Rockport almost 10 years ago. Excellent diagnostician. She is truthful and doesn't try to sugar coat bad news. I got my last kitty from her. So I knew it was in good health. She often has animals that she keeps when they are homeless. If you want a dog or cat, check with her. Office is very organized and it is easy to make appointments.

I recommend Horizon Veterinary Clinic to all newcomers to Rockport. They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff and will spend time on any questions you may have. I have been a client since the doors first opened. Recommend wholeheartedly!
