The staff is very friendly. Another dermatologist treated me for a year or two for adult acne and it never healed. At my first appointment at UTSW, Lexi the PA, listened and then looked at my skin and said I had a different skin disorder and the treatment worked immediately. I am very thankful for her.

I was referred to UT Southwestern by my regular dermatologist to have a cyst on the back of my neck removed. When scheduling I was told that the procedure could be done at either location so I chose the Frisco location since it was slightly closer to my home. When I showed up to have the cyst removed i was told by the doctor Kaveh Nezafati, MD that he couldn't do it because it was too large for his skill set and he would refer my to someone in the Dallas location. then when I when to check out they want me to pay a co pay. I told them he didn't do anything other than tell me he couldn't do it so why do i have to pay. I challenged it and the review board said they denied...read full review

extremely disorganized. I do not believe they followed the standard of care in my situation after my knee surgery at southwestern frisco I ended up with blood clots (DVTs) in both legs and a pulmonary embolism. I was not told of the risk of either of these. i spent the last 2 years having subsequent hospitalizations, surgeries, treatments, and have been in and out of doctors offices 3-4 times per week. I have ongoing issues. I had surgery to be able to exercise more and ended up in a worse condition. Every subsequent physician I saw asked why I was not given preventative blood thinner.
