    I would not go to any other vet than Amy Jo. I moved 100 miles from FBG and still take my cats to her. I first went to her when a previous vet wanted to cut the paw off my cat. I took it to Amy Jo and she saved the paw. She is so intuitive and has that "magic" with animals.

    I was introduced to Dr. Amy Jo at a showmanship clinic as a guest speaker, educating parents on health practices for show goats. Late Friday evening I noticed our wether wasn't acting normal and it was a potential emergency. Thankfully she let me bring Spud in as early as I could get him to her on Saturday morning. She was thorough at the visit and made herself very available for the rest of the weekend. We are very grateful as we had a show goat exhibit the same symptoms last year and he died that same night!     Amy Jo is simply amazing! On a cross country road trip in 2015 our German shepherd Chi chi was on deaths door due to an emergency surgery we had in Louisiana, that was apparently botched. Three weeks later we found ourselves in Fredericksburg TX with a very sick dog. Amy Jo came to our campground to meet chi chi and recognized immediately that she was very ill and likely not going to make it through the weekend. She had an infection in her intestines from the previous unsanitary surgery. There was a chance she could be saved but time was of an essence. With that type of infection growing in her abdomen is was only a 60 percent chance she would live after a second surgery....read full review
