I’ve been working on projects with Trinity Design for over a year, and have had such a great experience. Their ability to provide clear communication (which is key in my opinion) and organization of projects really sets them apart. We contracted with Trinity to design and construct a remodel. The design aspects were very satisfactory; however, the construction side fell very short of expectations. If you plan to use Trinity for construction work I highly recommend you have at least some basic knowledge of home maintenance as you will need to be able to assess the craftsmanship yourself, with high probability that many items will have to be subsequently addressed and re-done. For example, after work was 'completed' our hvac would run continuously to maintain set temperature. Trinity refused to look into it blaming it on an old system. We finally brought in an hvac expert on our own who found the air handler had been relocated by the contractor and was not properly resealed: ducts not even reconnected and gaps anywhere there could be gaps. We ended up $700 out of pocket to have the system resealed which immediately remedied the problem. Also, the new wood floor is just short of a disaster; creaks and gaps between boards throughout and a significant amount of boards with defects that should have gone in the scrap pile. We did finally get Trinity to send a different floor contractor to fix it. Within five minutes they wanted to make sure we understood that they were not the contractor that put this floor in and said they would need multiple days to fix and would have to reschedule; we are still waiting for Trinity to reschedule this after many many months. So, be prepared for exhaustive and continuous follow up if you choose Trinity for construction and also expect to have to do much of the work yourself. An overwhelmingly negative experience with much more money needed than expected in the end. Again, the design side of this business appeared to be highly competent, but the contracting side is highly focused on profit margin with zero understanding or focus on customer service.
