My experience with Texas Eye & Laser Center is always a good one, from check- in, to pre-op surgery instructions, prep and post-op instructions, vision packages, insurance/financing information if needed, up to preliminary meeting with Dr. Jerry Hu prior to surgery. I feel safe in the care of this office staff of professionals!
I definitely would have given 5 stars, but no thanks to the front desk staff. I'm very big on customer service, very customer service oriented as I work in the customer service field. This was my first time visit as a new patient and upon entering the building I was not greeted by any of the ladies at the front desk, they carried on with their conversation about "a wedding, the chef and heavy airport luggage." BUT they did greet their return patients that came in after me. Once I was called to the back to complete my test Carrie, Ms. Jo, and Dr. Webb made up for the lack of customer service I received from the receptionist desk. Other than the wait, the service was impeccable. All the staff, from the front desk, to the staff in the back, nurses, MA's, and Dr. Renault was wonderful. I just have to wait and see how my vision turned out. Will highly recommend, what wonderful staff.
