Raja Yoga is a welcoming environment for anyone interested in learning and practicing yoga. The studio is known for its Kundalini yoga classes, which are taught daily by experienced instructors. These classes guide students through powerful kriyas, breathing techniques, and meditations, allowing them to unlock their inner potential and grow in various aspects of their lives. One student particularly enjoys the teachings at Raja Yoga, especially the Kundalini classes. They have found April to be an amazing and favorite teacher so far. The studio has also fostered a strong sense of community among its students. One student from St. Louis has been attending online classes regularly, even when the pandemic was at its peak. They have noticed significant improvements in their overall well-being, including better sleep, reduced stress, and improved health. They are grateful for the teachers at Raja Yoga, including Kevin, Joy, Courtney, Kira, April, and Linda. Another student, a 67-year-old retiree, shares how Raja Yoga has positively impacted their health. After spending 50 years in a high-stress corporate job that required long hours of sitting, they developed various health issues, including high blood pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, ulcers, and Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease. However, after practicing Hatha Yoga with Joy Holmes at Raja Yoga, they experienced significant improvements in their health. Their doctor attributed their recovery to yoga, and they have continued to practice it regularly, resulting in weight loss and overall improved well-being. They believe that yoga may have saved their life.
