Needing to establish care with a primary care physician, I made an appointment to see PA Boggs. While it did take a while to get in to see her, the wait was well worth it. Every person I encountered in the Medical Center was so amazing! Molly was incredible, she was so kind and listened to everything I had to say. Not once did she make me feel unheard or dismissed. She was very informative and knowledgeable! I had to have labs done, which was very convenient because you just got to the first level to get it done. Tasha who drew my labs, was absolutely amazing. She was quick and efficient and had me at ease! I got some lab results within an hour. The wait to hear from...read full review
Oddly impressed with this doctors office. I wasn't sure at first, I'm used to the small town dr's offices being a little more warm welcoming in it's setting, but this location, altho you sit in a more open rotunda'esque waiting area, there is lots of open area with lots of window to allow sun in, makes it brighter and not so dark feeling. Each area has its own check in, rather than a check for a specific dr, the check ins are based on types of Drs, i.e., Primary Care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, etc. Most open to the same large sitting area, other are off hallway and towards the back side but what I saw still had ample windows and light. The staff when you are greeted and walk into the dr's area, at Primary Care anyway, there was a long counter with about 5 ladies working on computers. An interesting view. We went to the exam room, was very large and open. Dr. Niven is our new primary, he was very nice, took his time, didn't make us feel rushed, asked lots of questions and made lots of notes. Not feeling rushed and that he answered our questions was really nice. One thing I do like about this place is they have almost all the needed Dr's in one location. Labs, XRays, mammograms, skin, primary, eyes, nuerology, etc, all in the is building, so that can limit travels especially if you have multiple appts for differing drs on the same day. Also helps if they need to ask one of the other Dr's you're seeing a question. All of the information from the visit, appointments, medical records and notes are all on the Mychart website, that's nice. No more keeping papers in the file. They do have their own parking area across the street. If you have to wait for a while, there are plenty of coffee and deli shops across the street as well.
