Family Hair Salon provides great high and tight fades and cuts. Despite a language barrier, the stylists deliver quality haircuts. Note that the credit card system used does not allow for written tips, so customers may be asked to verbalize their tip amount. The owner may come across as rough, but the focus is on providing a decent haircut. Customer service may not be the strongest point, but the salon gets the job done.
Good haircut for a good price. Quick and expert cutting and understood what I wanted.
Barber didn't feel like the type for small talk and there was a lot of cut hairs left on my head but not bad over all.
They did well for what was important.

I've seen this barber many times during my visits to Texas and have always gotten a great high and tight fade. There is a bit of a language barrier, but it's never interfered with receiving a great cut.
I’ve been coming to this hair stylist for years and have always received a great high and tight cut. There is a bit of a language barrier, but in no way does it interfere with my choice of haircut. To address the comments about him “asking” for a tip, the reason for this is the credit card company he uses does not offer a section for the customer to “write in” a tip so IF you’d like to tip your stylist you must verbalize the amount so he can process your card for the entire cost of service and tip.
