“The purpose of this message is to express our deepest appreciation to Dr. Angela C. Koplos, OD, regarding my mother's eye care. My mother's name is Guadalupe M.... and she is 3 months shy of 90 years although, you would think she is only 60. I took my mother to see Dr. Koplos as she has poor vision. In brief, mom suffers from wet macula on both eyes and on the right eye, she sees 20/400. Her left eye is no better and just recently, she was diagnosed with cataracts on her left eye. Needless to say, it's been very difficult for mom to see and clearly distinguish objects in front of her or to her side. While mom's faith in God and hope for a better tomorrow with her eyesight remains strong, she fervently prays to God and Archangel Raphael, Medicine of God. Today, when Dr. Koplos put on her new eyeglasses, Mom began tearing thanking God and her Archangel for all the blessings in her life. She tearfully thanked Dr. Koplos, wiping her tears over and over. It was a very emotional moment for Mon and, for myself, her daughter, seeing mom so happy and with a big smile in her face. I hadn't seen Mom this happy and emotionally in a long time as it's heartbreaking when you can't read the newspaper or your favorite book anymore. When Dr. Koplos provided mom with instructions on using the Ruby XL-HD magnifyer and her new reading glasses, Mom's eyes opened and she exclaimed that she could read again. This moment was priceless. Mom hasn't stopped reading since we left her office and her life has changed for the best. Dr. Koplos, in brief, there are no words to express our deepest gratitude. Every day, we all take our vision for granted because we don't know any better; we think it will always be there. Today, marked a very important day for "Our" mother and all her family; she regained some of her sight and the first thing that she said was, "I can see you clearly again. I couldn't see your face and now I can see you. How beautiful the mountains look!" "Thank You" Dr. Koplos. Thank you are two simple words but they come from a very grateful and sincere heart that will have you in her daily prayers. “I've been to Dr. Boynton twice between Oct 2023 and Jan 2024. The first time I went with my 82 yr old mother who needed new glasses pronto. Dr. Boynton was great with her. We were able to get a walk in appointment which was super helpful.I went to him in January when my vision became clouded over with hundreds of little black dots. Dr. Boynton preform a medical eye exam and, though he didn't find anything physically wrong with my eye, he spent a good bit of time explaining possible cause s and suggested follow up with other doctors. He was very reassuring and helpful.“

“Let me start by saying I have had a hard time finding an OD because my eyes are extremely difficult for most OD’s. A congenital abnormality I inherited from my father. My father has the same issues. My father is very old school, never came out of his old OD who finally retired after 40+ years and he needed new prescription glasses. He informed me about an OD that attended him who did EVERYTHING in his office. Phones, insurance qualification and ALL THE EXAMs and EXTRAS. He said he also spoke Spanish. My dad can speak English but doesn’t like to. He said this doctor spoke perfect Spanish. My dad boasted about him and he doesn’t like ANY DOCTORS! On my hunt for another OD, I sought out convenience close to home. Ended up at Walmart Cielo Vista because the this OD has two practices. Horizon and Cielo. His vibe was right up my alley. ?Energetic, funny and very knowledgeable and professional. I told him about my horrible experience with my last OD and he listened. He did research while I was there and said let go ahead and do trials for those types of contacts you are requesting. What’s the worst that can happen? We can build from there. Really? I was ecstatic because folks doctors should ALWAYS LISTEN. You know your own eyes. I’m so excited to be able to see with contacts after years of failures and not being heard! Furthermore, he’s the same OD my dad was boasting about. This was fate! Incredible! He really is A one #1! Thank you Dr. Nguyen!! You’re the best! ❤️??❤️“

“After more than 3 years of trying to get my insurance company to add them to their plan, I can now go back to Dr McMahon. No complaints. Great doctor. Great staff. Friendly. Nothing bad to say. I can finally now go someplace (besides Visionworks) that has a very good selection & if expensive, my insurance covers a big chunk so if I pay highly, that's fine since I have to wear them all the time.“
