From the moment I had contact with Stephanie, (I hope I spelled her name right) everything was taken care of. Retrieval, cremation, full honors for a 31 year Marine Corps Vet, all I had to do was call. Stephanie repeatedly told me it was her honor to help with my Fathers final destination. Brenda was so very kind when she arrived to retrieve my Father. Stephanie made sure that my Father left our world with dignity. Veronica prepared him in full dress to be cremated. I called the day before the service to inquire about a vehicle service to which Stephanie had under control. It’s really hard to lose people. The people you choose to get you through should always be praised...read full review

I recently experienced the loss of my 96 year old Grandmother. She was on hospice so I had time to prepare and make a decision a few days before I was actually at need. I was given a list of funeral homes that also listed prices from the hospice company that was caring for my Grandmother, and I made calls to several of them asking about cremation services that they offer and none of them on that list met my expectations or requirements. I had only a few basic requirements which were 1: Is the crematory on site? 2: Will my Grandmother be in care of the funeral home from start to finish? 3: Can I witness the cremation in person? After being given different answers, and the run around by several on that list I began doing my own research, and finally found TLC cremation which is part of Hughes Family Tribute Center, and Hughes Funeral Home. I called to ask a few questions, and left a message and within 5 minutes one of the owners Stephanie Hughes called me back, and took her time answering all of my questions. I was happy to find out that this location met all of my requirements and expectations, and I knew right then that this is who I would call on at my time of need. Unfortunately my at need came 24 hours later, and TLC came through just as promised. I highly recommend them their service is very professional, and dignified. I will also say that many friends of mine questioned me wanting to witness the cremation, but I can tell you that I highly recommend that you choose this option. I am at peace knowing that my loved one was cared for respectively and that the remains I received were actually my loved one. I’m also at peace knowing that my grandmother wasn’t taken to an industrial location in an undesirable location to be cremated. I also got one last chance to see my Grandmother and tell her goodbye one last time, and was with her till the end. Choose TLC you will not be disappointed.
