Do not use this group! Terrible about communication and working with patients. Once you are assigned a Dr you are stuck with that doctor forever! Terrible online chart software. Just a frustrating mess.
**My username and photo are pseudonyms, for medical privacy purposes. I am a legitimate patient of TDDC** As other reviews have stated, their billing department (GI Alliance) is borderline FRAUDULENT at worst and outright incompetent at best. Complete lack of transparency in bills received, due dates that have already passed, mailed statements that conflict with online statements, bills that don't reflect cleared payments, etc. They say I have an overdue amount, which I've already paid. Problem is, they applied my payment to a different charge for the same service date, so the first charge remains and is considered late. They are IDIOTS. This place is the WORST. It's a shame because I really like my doctor here but I don't think I can stay with this dreadful billing in place. Have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. The only bright spot has been dealing with Sonya M. at this location. Though she's not specifically in the billing department, she has spent more than an hour with me on the phone, trying to work through my issues. She is outstanding and very kind and I wish more people at TDDC/GI Alliance were like her. Unless you have no other option for GI services in Dallas, run as fast as you can away from this place.
I would think twice before making an appointment here. First, they hardly answer the phones. Their billing department is a joke. They are unhelpful to say the least. I was due a refund and I called about it. The guy told me it would be automatic since I canceled appointment and to give it two weeks. I waited 2 weeks and received no refund. I then disputed Credit card charge and bank reversed it. Then I receive a $25 charge back fee for a returned payment. I call to see about it and they claim I never requested a refund which is a lie. They refused to reverse the $25 fee so basically I was charged $25 for them to return my money that was due to me! Save yourself a headache.
