I was referred to Dr. McDonough by my Primary Care Physician upon her trying (to no avail) to help with a stubborn skin and scalp issue which could not be resolved under her care. I then suggested that perhaps I could find my own dermatologist Uptown Dallas as she light-heartedly replied "no, Dr. McDonough is a "real" dermatologist" - meaning that he is a Medical dermatologist versus Cosmetic. I'm so thrilled that I accepted her referral as he is an excellent and structured provider who maintains a clean, quiet, well-organized office which one can definitely appreciate! He is always thorough with my skin checks and explains everything very well, with no nonsense approach!
