Dr Kernes is such an awesome doctor. She is Very thorough and informative, as she took the time to go through everything going on with our dog, especially with explaining medical terms. She is also extremely compassionate and empathetic. Highly recommend!

I have always avoided Vetinarian clinics because of being scared of cost. When my dog got sick I tried two other clinics outside of town, trying to get the best price. Both turned me away, one didn't work with sick pets and the other was too full. I wasted gas and time. I'm grateful the staff at Buckner Animal clinic scheduled me a same day appointment AND they were so nice! Dr. Wiest was professional and cared for my dog while helping me keep my costs low. The best part was they gave me an estimate of the conservative procedures they believed would help my dog. I am grateful for their service and I will call them first for any pet emergencies.

We came to Buckner Animal Clinic for Dr Pruitt to do an ear crop on our 15 wk old Dogo Argentino. It was very fast getting a consult and the turn around for surgery was only one week. We discussed the procedure with the tech, who had been helping Dr. Pruitt with his ear crops for 15 years. He was wonderful and thorough. We brought pictures of what we wanted the crop to look like, and that is exactly what we got! They are BEAUTIFUL! The crop was a wonderful experience for us. Upon getting the sutures removed, our pup had a small reaction to the "chill pill" given to him in order to get the sutures removed. I noticed ten minutes later in the car after we left and immediately turned around & took him back. Dr. Pruitt quickly & calmly administered a Benadryl shot to calm his hives. Dr. Pruitt even went out of his way to carry my sleepy pup (50lbs) to my car despite having a jam packed clinic due to their low cost vaccination day. It all worked perfectly and he was back to running around the yard with his toys just hours later! The entire clinic is kind, friendly and dedicated to their pups & wonderful clinic.
