Me and my wife were coming back from a night out and my wife had drank a little too much this night. I carried her out my car and fell with her causing some head injuries. During the time this had happened,
CPL Ryan Gottwald and security officer Fearn had rushed to the scene and observed and reported the situation. Paramedics were contacted right away and were on the scene in minutes.

Had an officer approach me in Half Price books parking lot. Was just chillin listening to music and keeping an eye on my property across the street. It was actually a welcome sight. I’m used to general lawlessness since I moved to Dallas.I had to get Dallas PD involved with several incidents with my job. They could absolutely care less and never responded to any incidents. Nice to see some armed security presence in the neighborhood since the police department is too understaffed and underfunded to do so.
I was parked behind the Gopuff warehouse waiting in my car for an order to deliver and the officers approached my car and were polite and helpful. I'd like to thank them again for checking to make sure that I was indeed legitimately there but also checking to see if I was safe. We don't thank these security officers enough for the hard work and complicated situations that they put themselves in! Thank you!
