In 2023 I struggled running the Honolulu Marathon so I was determined to make 2024 the year I get it right. That’s when I found Steve at The Dallas Run Clinic. We started working together in March. He guided me through the whole process. His evaluation of me unlocked several things I could work on to get better and stronger. His weekly plans are spot on. Made me stronger and feel like I was making actual progress. He was always supportive and helped me get out of down times that come with training. I went to Dallas Run Clinic after having inexplicable foot pain in one of my feet for several year that only presented when I attempted to run on it. I went to an orthopedist multiple times before visiting DRC and that was very unproductive - they diagnosed me with arthritis and their only solution was to sell me a carbon fiber shoe insert that seemed to do nothing to fix the core issue. Steve, on the other hand, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He took care to make sure he understood exactly what I was looking to get out of each session. I developed Plantar Fasciitis during my last marathon build and went to see Steve in hopes that he could get me healthy before I started training for another race. He put me on a program to strengthen the tissue and had me back running in no time. I'm pain free and training for another marathon without any issue. He also helped with some adjustments to my running form and provided a strength training program to keep me healthy. Steve is fantastic and I'm so happy that I found him!
