I chose Tamie and her sister, Tang, for my bridal makeup and hair, because they had worked on a bunch of my friends for their weddings and they all looked beautiful. I don’t wear skin makeup on a daily basis, so it was really important to me that I didn’t have a ton of makeup caked on (even as a bride). I felt like I still looked like myself and not a completely different person on my wedding day, which was really important to me. Tamie is especially good if you’re an Asian bride—she just knows how to work with our features. She does get booked out, though… I contacted her 10 months before my wedding but she was already booked that morning. She wasn’t able to work on my bridal party, but she was able to squeeze me into her schedule. So if you want Tamie and Tang for your wedding, book them ASAP! :)
I loved working with Tamie on my wedding day! Her team did my makeup, my mother and the mother of the groom, as well as all of my bridesmaids makeup. She truly listened to what we each wanted and the results were incredible! Not only did the makeup look great in pictures, but it lasted throughout the night. I would highly recommend her!
Tamie and her team did an amazing job the day of my wedding! They were very quick and professional and we all were STUNNING! I worried about finding a hair/makeup artist that was able to do makeup for Asian girls since the DFW wedding beauty industry does not seem to advertise much towards this ethnic group, but I am so happy I found Tamie! She made my fairy princess goals come true - I felt like the most beautiful bride. She and her team are also so kind and fun to talk to, it really helped make my wedding day start off to a great start. If you're looking for flawless bridal makeup at a reasonable cost I highly recommend Tamie and her team!
