“Choosing a company to take care of our family during emergencies was a task. We have been procrastinating when it came to getting a standby generator for our home and it really showed during this last outage. Hurricane Beryl left my family without light for 6 days and if that didn’t seem long enough our family outside the home went through a few days longer. Looking for a company that would be honest, straightforward, and reliable is always so hard when so many people are out to scam, take shortcuts, or be misleading at such a horrible time or just in general. She also informed us that there was a time frame of just consults and then installation especially since Beryl hit . We indeed appreciated this because, if it was too much, we knew not to even wait for the consult and if the schedules exceeded our timeframe we would not waste our time or theirs. Thank you Arc Electric + Lighting for that. On to our consultation, from the moment she arrived at our home we instantly knew they would be our choice. Choosing a company that had such a personal and professional approach and educated us with all we needed to know was exactly what we needed . No questions were left unanswered or unclear. We are now enjoying the security of knowing our home will be up and running in the event of outages thanks to this company. As a parent we try to keep our children from being uncomfortable or unstable in their own home, as a provider we worry about the loss of appliances, food, and finances that come with these disasters. “RAB Electric Consultants helped me get a whole house natural gas power generator installed and running. I had talked with a couple of other companies who tried to sell me larger, expensive and noisier 24KW units but Rocky took the time to actually measure the current drawn by both my air conditioning units and found that a 14KW unit was perfect for my 3500 Sq. Ft. house. This Champion generator is quieter and cheaper than the 24KW Generac and comes with a 10 year limited warranty (twice what Generac offers). Rocky and his chief installer, Matt, had the generator mounted within 3 days of my order and patiently waited while CenterPoint Energy took 5 weeks to get my gas line installed. “Quality of work was solid, the electrician completed our generator install. Price was exactly as quoted and was the midpoint of the quotes I received. We had some scheduling challenges, the first appointment got rescheduled a couple days out due to his previous project running long. On the rescheduled day he started the install but couldn't complete it due to bringing the wrong parts requiring a second (or third counting the reschedule) appointment to finish.“

They were prompt in taking care of business. Josh, the lead tech, was outstanding and knew his business. The other tech Zack & one more busted their butts getting things wired. Being 100° degrees outside, Josh & Zack worked in the attic for close to an hour, which had to be 125°+, pulling electrical from one side of the house to the other. My concerns and the suffering of these two hard-working individuals in the attic with such a high heat index. The technicians cleaned after themselves self leaving the job site as they arrived. Again my hats off to Wired Electrical & Generators for a great experience.
