The golf course is well-maintained, even after heavy rain, and provides a good experience for players. The course is mostly wide open, but the creeks and ponds add a nice challenge. The staff are all very nice and attentive. Visitors can enjoy a plentiful and tasty breakfast before their round, with popular options like the panko fried shrimp and the tasty club sandwich. Rusted Rail also accommodates special occasions and live music. While the menu could use a few more choices for lunch, the facilities and amenities are awesome, making it a recommended spot for a nice day of golfing.
Have not had the opportunity to do tee time at this location, but the range is very nice. The entire course looks to be well kept and the service is good. Recommended for a nice day of golfing.
Edit: after multiple tee times, I can definitively say this is one of the better courses near the Dallas area! Fairways are well kept, greens are in good condition (seems they are consistently improving them), and the layout is great! The fees are higher than average, but I do believe it is well worth it for the course you get to play. You can book a week in advance if you are a non member and you get earlier booking availability as a member.
Went today and loved seeing Rita again. Breakfast was great and loved seeing other Rita fans. Best wait staff we have ever had. We will be regulars. Would love to see some of the home cooked meals we were use to for lunch and dinner.
Entry to restaurant needs better signage to direct folks to where to enter. Hopefully website, facebook, etc. will be updated with restaurant hours and breakfast menu.
Love doing karaoke 🎤 😍 with Hillbilly 😍❤️🎤 4th of July was a disappointment 😞 because of the rain and because they wouldn't let Hillbilly set up karaoke inside the Country Club Cafe 😢 I was looking forward to doing karaoke and seeing the fireworks and then later hearing the band that was supposed to play 😢😞😳😳😳
