“Came here for a rabies shot for a family dog (Siberian husky) and it was a really good experience. I don’t normally write reviews but I thought it deserved one. I’ve never had a permanent vet until now. I went in on a Tuesday at noon and my dog has always had high anxiety and is very loud and just have never liked the vet but as soon as the doctor came in he was very nice and respectful and was explaining everything and explaining how to be around dogs that are like mine and my dog eventually warmed up to him which was surprising. It’s like he put a spell on my dog lol in a good way. They were constantly talking in an enthusiastic way to him and the staff never got discouraged or stressed or rushed anything. They stayed optimistic and their positive energy never wavered which was so nice to see. We eventually came up with a solution to do a “ninja” technique for the doctor to use to give our dog the shot he needed and it worked and then after our dog got the injection, he gained his trust back once again after the shot and doing tricks with him with treats etc… we left with a great game plan created by the doctor on how to adjust things with our dog in a positive way going forward and we left with no concerns and all our questions and concerns resolved. They were very helpful and you can tell they love animals. Thanks!“
“Bentley and Harley are new to Castle Hills Animal Hospital but not Dr. Joy! Dr. Joy has been taking care of them for nearly 15 years. I absolutely love the new Hospital and the care they are receiving from all the staff. Communication is so easy with email, text and telephone. Dr. Joy is so caring and personable. I always feel he is upfront and honest and really cares for our pets and us pet parents as if we were family. ♥️ Castle Hills Animal Hospital!“
“Very caring staff. I was able to get my sick dog in last minute. Good experience all around!“
“Best Vet ever. Dr. Burkette has been taking care of my family's pets since I was a kid. He was so sweet with my Pittie, Gracie!“
“I have been coming here since 2003 first with my boxer Zeus when he was 4 weeks old, now with my Lola. Zeus lived 14 years because of Dr Jim Miller, who I found out has retired. He loved Zeus. I moved to Houston area in 2015 have recently moved back to the area, drove 40 minutes to come here. Walked in recognized Diana immediately, I remember when she started, love her smile, love the staff always caring. Thank you for being so dedicated.“
“I came as a walk in for puppy vaccinations. The waiting room is as clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A wellness check was included for free and my puppy was weighed and looked at before the vaccinations. The service was quick and took about 15 minutes. She got her ten week shots and then the vet tech came out to tell me where she got the shots and that she could be sore. She was also checked for parasites at the visit. The timeframe for puppy vaccinations was explained during check out and I left with a follow up appointment. We also were given her first flea and tick medication for me to administer at home. Very informative visit and very affordable.“
“It’s wonderful that they love my spirited 65 pound dog and treat her like she is their favorite. She loves all the attention and never complains about going to the vet!“
“I have never in all of my years of many pets and many vets experienced such EXCEPTIONAL care from a veterinary office. Both Dr. Cox and Talor are simply the best in every way and I feel fortunate to have found them.“
“Recently moved to the area and I was looking for a new vet to take care of my pups and diabetic cat. They are reasonably priced and did a great job with my babies. Will be going back“

Dr. Binford is very thorough and does not prescribe unnecessary medication or do unnecessary tests their prices are extremely reasonable. The entire staff is very professional and very likable!“

“We had an appointment this morning with Dr. Dennis Crow to diagnose a chronic post surgical condition for my Granddog. I want to let everybody know he went beyond the routine standard of care to help us figure this out. He's great.“
“My poor Owli Kat was suffering from gingivitis despite having dental cleanings. She was also having frequent weeping eyes and ear infections and raspy breathing. I told my Vet I knew something was wrong and they suggested I take her to Dallas Veterinary Dentistry for a consult to set my mind at ease. At first they thought it was stomatitis as her throat and gums were very inflamed. After a month on doxycycline and her surgery date approached the radiographs showed severe tooth resorption and the same outcome...total tooth extraction. Quite frankly I think my little girl would have died if we waited much longer. She is a tiny girl and had virtually stopped eating. I can't imagine the pain she was hiding. They saved her life. She is making up for lost time and eating a lot. Her fur looks much better. No weepy eyes or ears. And I can't feel her bones. And it hasn't even been a week! I can't thank this practice enough for taking away her pain.“
“Best Vet services in the area. Friendly staff and doctors. I have been going here for YEARS and simply love them. Dr Greg was so kind when I had to put a dog down. The staff took time to send me a hand written sympathy card and it really touched my heart. I have referred many friends and family to this practice and they are all as happy with them as I am!!!❤️“
