I think the name of the salon echos the work they do and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I've seen them do excellent cuts on men, but based off of my two experiences, I've decided to not go back. On my first visit, I asked for a straight trim. It honestly looked great, but over time, I was told my hair was in a V cut from the back. That's not what I wanted. I wish I had been shown my hair in the mirror. Anyways, 3months passed and I was due for another trim. The stylist pointed out how the V-Cut looked really bad and she'd have to cut it in a U-shape to try to keep the length, but at the same time, help it look straight. I had long layers and I told her multiple times I did not want them touched and if a trim was necessary, that it needed to be subtle to keep the layers long. Well, 4inches we're cut (and my hair was not unhealthy to need that tremendous cut and the V-cut strand did not call for such a cut either) and short layers were added. Ever see a Christmas/pine tree with leaves flipping out? That's my hair at shoulder length. All in all, it's been disappointing. It's not just hair they're dealing with, it's honesty people's self esteem and confidence that comes through the hair.

When I called they quoted me a different price than I was charged. The staff was nice and they were pretty quick at getting started. I took my sons here for haircuts. They were very busy even though it was after 7pm when we arrived. The haircuts didn't take long to finish. But I was not satisfied with the finished result. Most of the stylists only speak Spanish so maybe there was something lost in translation.

I have had a hard time finding someone to cut my teen son's hair correctly. I used to come here when he was little and drifted but in the last year I discovered Irma and I only let her cut his hair. She's patient and has great attention to detail. I have only attempted to get my own hair cut here years ago because I have very curly hair and know it's NOT easy nor can anyone get it right unless I straighten it first. They had a hard time getting it right so I only go there for the boy and will continue to take him there when Irma is there. The owner, Mandy, is very sweet and understands I have a preference for Irma only when it comes to my son's hairstyle.
