“Coco had the pleasure of working with Sam and I am so pleased with Coco’s progress as a 6 month old puppy. Her ability to follow commands outside (and in new places) was extremely hard for Coco due to the many distractions that come in these different types of environments. Sam helped my sweet Coco girl with this tremendously! Our walks outside and play sessions in open fields are a dream! I can confidently have her off leash without having to worry about her running after something. And Coco loves Sam! He sent several videos with thorough explanations on how to practice each command. Every time I watch them, Coco gets so excited to hear his voice. This was hard for me to leave my sweet girl for 2 weeks but Sam was so good with her and I knew she was in great hands! You won’t be disappointed!“

“I brought my two stinky dogs, and they came back squeaky-clean. One of my Dog is aggressive on the grooming table, but they manage to trim him. Although there are some parts on his legs that are not trimmed, considering my dog's behavior, they tried their best, and I am satisfied with their job.“

She gave so many helpful tips and amazing advice and I’m only on her waitlist! Aka she did all of this out of the kindness of her heart. This is really a rare quality these days and I am so unbelievably thankful for her wisdom, insight, and time! Highly recommend this trainer!“

“Saving AstroWhen we first adopted Astro, we had no idea what we were getting into. He seemed like a big, friendly husky. “He’s food aggressive,” said the lady at the rescue society where we picked him up. No problem, I thought. Over the last twenty years we’ve had many huskies, usually have at least 4 or 5 at a time, and I’ve dealt with dogs growling over their food bowl before and gotten through it. Astro, however, was much worse than that. He didn’t just have food aggression, he also had severe fear issues and clearly had been beaten or backed into a corner before. By the time we got to Victoria we had been through one trainer and Astro had bitten me three times, the last time pretty severely. I was lucky he hadn’t sent me to the hospital. For the first time in our life, my husband and I seriously considered euthanasia as an option. We couldn’t give him back to any adoption center or rescue knowing the danger he posed. We couldn’t let him put our other dogs at risk, not to mention the neighborhood kids. We had already put him on doggie Prozac, and he was still biting. Our vet suggested an animal behaviorist, as opposed to just a trainer. My husband found Victoria on a Google search and we asked her to come over right away. She started with evaluating all our dogs interacting together at my house, and spent well over an hour with me talking through the different incidents with Astro and when they happened, and what had happened before and after each incident. We had initially thought maybe we would send Astro to board with her and train for several weeks, but after the home visit she recommended that he stay here while we trained. Astro had so much fear and uncertainty in his behavior, he didn’t really need to be put in yet another new environment.Without going into every single detail, what I can tell you is that Astro today is a completely different dog than the one that would crouch at the back of his crate showing me all his teeth. He’s happy and gaining confidence every day. He used to shy away from our other dogs (including him we have 5 huskies), but now he plays with them. I went from being afraid to place a food bowl in front of him, to where now, when I place down the bowl, he’s wagging his tail and half the time I get a “thank you” slurp on the face as I put it down in front of him.Yes, it took months, and we had to get here in stages, but he’s part of the family now and a completely different dog. We carefully followed Victoria’s weekly instructions, to the letter. That means about 5 or 10 minutes EVERY day, 2 to 3 times a day, going through the exercises she showed us. It works, and it worked wonders for us. She pinpointed the very specific triggers and problems with Astro, and we worked in steps to train him to think and react differently and unlearn those bad behaviors. Victoria is not a “sit and stay” trainer. She looks at your dog’s individual and specific problems, and then tailors a program unique to your situation. We highly recommend her.“

Dogs Rule Resort Pet Boarding Training

“I was coming on here to write my review and was shocked when I saw a recent one about a high energy dog.
My experience with Dogs Rule Resort was nothing short of perfect, so when I read a recent review of a customer with a very very similar situation as me (spooky even) I was floored that they had the audacity to leave such a nasty review.
Then it occurred to me to read all of the negative reviews with a grain of salt, and remember that this is just one side of the story.
I have a high energy dog and he was boarded for 5 days. I understand, like most high energy dog owners, that sometimes they can be a handful. And sometimes, depending on the breed, they might not be a good fit to play with other dogs. Some herding dogs will herd dogs instead of play. And it’s not their fault, it’s what their made to do. So when I got a call saying my boy was playing a little too rough and would be getting put in time out, I understood that it wasn’t out of malicious intent. It was to keep everyone safe. Don’t get me wrong, I was a little upset because Jake doesn’t usually act like that around me. But just like kids, dogs behave differently in a new/ different environment and differently around different people. I also tuned into the webcams and saw his naughty behavior, and give huge props to the person handling him and the situation. They were very quick and responsive. As a result of this incident, Jakey got a scratch on his leg. The staff notified me and added it to their to-do list to clean it twice a day.
Dogs are dogs and accidents happen! They’re like kids with sharper teeth and who aren’t afraid to use them ?
Overall the stay was great and Jake was definitely ready for a nap after pick up! It’s not a surprise since he was playing for about 8-10 hours everyday. When do dogs ever run around that much? Even high energy working dogs have breaks throughout the day. The mental stimulation alone is enough to make any dog sleep good after just 8 hours.
I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a place to board, daycare or for grooming.
If any of the staff ever reads this, know you are doing a great job and don’t let some guy tell you otherwise. Some people severely lack common sense, but you guys are doing an amazing job. I wouldn’t leave my fur baby with anyone else!“

“I visited a few veterinarians in area after my former veterinarian retired.. I have 4 pets. Dr. Hulka is very knowledgeable and starts with the most conservative treatment plan. They show you the different options you have to care for your pet along with the cost.. I really like the staff. Stevie ,, a vet tech , was really good with my dogs. Been taking my pets here for about 4 years since pandemic. They also have some later hours than some clinics.“
