Darian is the absolute best of the best. I've seen her for everything- going short, growing out, highlights, vivids, going dark, natural. This girl can do it all. And she's seen it all with me- my post-breakup DIY bleach jobs, home-haircuts during quarantine, bad box-dye, and more. She's never judgmental, she's always knowledgeable on how to get me to my hair goals, and she's reasonably priced. Her priority is helping you achieve your ultimate self-expression, and she nails it every time. She's also a very comfortable person to work with- she's always been very accommodating to me. If I want to chat, she's always a hoot, but on the rare day that I want to be an introvert, she's completely respectful. Tips to make the most of your experience: - know what your budget is, and what your hair-goals are. She'll help you figure out what you can achieve within that. - bring reference photos for any specific cut, color, or style. This ensures that everyone is on the same page about what you're asking for (especially since, in the age of TikTok, there are so many different new names for it all) - discuss what maintenance level you're willing to put into your hair every day. This will be a factor in color maintenance and styling, as well as what products you might need to use. - ask any questions! She's going to meet you with kindness and understanding, so don't be afraid to ask! - if you can, please tip your stylist! This is just a good rule of thumb, and helps enable your stylist to keep doing what they do while also letting them know that you appreciate their work. I've seen Darian for years and will continue seeing her until I have to move. She's just too wonderful to pass up.
