Pls find a better place and doctor then ADC/Dr Jivantika. She was referring my last year's blood work for this appointment. ADC told me before the meeting that the blood work is processed after the Annual check up. If blood work is the basis for the appt then what kind of annual check up was performed without this report? Doctor's office and ADC is completely misaligned on the working procedures. I was barely able to understand the nurse. Overall it seems like I talked to my cable operator customers service and will be receiving a bill for hundred's of dollars.

My daughter has seen Dr. Albert since she was 2 years old, and I was always happy with services received. As the practice grew, it became harder and harder to get appointments with her, so I started scheduling with her PA. We were always pleased with those services as well, until this last year when I was scheduled with a different PA I had never seen before, Kathy Ramirez. Her bedside manner was awful, to say the least. This was a well check visit for my now 17 yo daughter. My daughter had some concerns noticing her heart rate racing periodically while not engaging in any activities. K. Ramirez was quick to dismiss that it should be of any concern and proceeded to tell her to collect some data around her claim to further review. Although that may be good advice to pinpoint what is causing the issue, her response was very unprofessional in my opinion. I will also add that my daughter had lost her dad to an unexpected heart attack 2 years prior, and therefore could be of great concern since heart issues could be hereditary. I would expect the response from a medical professional to be of genuine concern, regardless of family history. In addition, K. Ramirez inquired if my daughter has had the covid vaccine. She answered no, then asked if she had any questions about it (valid response). My daughter answered no again, and told her she did not want to get the vaccine. K. Ramirez then proceeded to push all the reasons SHE thought my daughter should get it, without considering her choice in the matter. Again, VERY unprofessional in my opinion. On top of all that, the clinic billed us for the well visit (valid) in addition to an office visit, since the heart issue was mentioned, apparently that creates an additional charge. I would have had no issue paying that if the response was just a little bit helpful and maybe there was some concerns expressed that my daughter's health could be in potential danger, but as I explained that was not the case. Now my daughter has "aged out" of pediatric care, so it is a moot point to return to this practice, however maybe this will help others decide if they should wait for an appt with Dr. Albert and not choose the PA, Kathy Ramirez. If there are other PAs available, I would say go for it, as we used to see one year after year with no issues (I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful and both my kids loved her!). Good luck!
