If you’re like me and have spent YEARS loving extreme sports, you know that a solid recovery protocol is very necessary. I also work a desk job all day…so lots to unpack with the meat ship I sail.Simon is not only a LEGIT massage therapist - His knowledge of movement and wisdom as an athlete make for an outstanding service. My shoulder hasn’t moved this well in more than 10 years.Give this man your money and get fixed. Win-Win
I started seeing Simon in June of 2020 after a tricky knee replacement. His skill brought my muscles and tendons into line and relieved the pain of recovery. In my case, it took a while (6 months) for my hamstrings to surrender and fly right, but I put my faith in sports massage and Simon's recommendations and achieved optimal range of motion, elimination of pain and increase in confidence that allowed me to begin weightlifting as part of my recovery. Bodywork is not a luxury; it is a necessary part of lifting or any athletic life. I have also seen him for bicep tendonitis, shoulder issues and a back spasm that was more than annoying. Found out that sometimes to fix a shoulder issue you must fix an anterior pec issue. I always learn something new about the body when I see Simon! Sessions with him are therapeutic (meaning they are not always comfortable) - he shares his knowledge of the body, is motivational when needed and a fun conversationalist. He is a very proper English gentleman and the embodiment of optimism, sunshine in shorts and a T-shirt. I continue to see him for regular maintenance work and for any tweaks/twinges that pop up. Give him a call and begin a journey to healing and wellness. Gena, Georgetown, Texas
If you're reading reviews and trying to decide on a therapist or decide if you should go to one let me suggest you stop scrolling and see Simon. His skill, focus and knowledge is incredible - and I speak as someone who thought he was knowledgable before meeting Simon. In a single session he'll be able to help you with your immediate concerns or pain, provide you with direction to help improve it on your own and attack the root cause that's resulting in it. If you're an athlete looking to repair some overuse injuries (or prevent them) or someone who has lost some function and wants to get it back Simon is the guy for you.
