Handyman Express

We've hired Handyman Express for two jobs now and will definitely use this company again. Shawn is responsive, knowledgeable, and has an excellent work ethic. He shows up on time, gives accurate estimates, and provides quality work at a reasonable price! As we fixed up a property for rental, we ran into several jobs we either couldn't do or didn't have time to do. Our first to-do list consisted of a masonry patch on the fireplace, re-installing some shutters, and patching/painting a section of wall to match an existing area. We tried to get several estimates and were disappointed how many companies didn't respond or weren't able to do part of the work (the masonry). Shawn got back to us immediately. He asked for several pictures because he "never likes to say yes, when the answer should have been no." I really appreciated this kind of honesty! We also told him that the patch and paint part of the job was time sensitive and he was able to fit us in quickly. The work was done on time and in line with his cost estimate. We were so pleased with the quality and value of Shawn's work that we came up with a second to-do list. This included installing a stretch of gutter with rain chains, repairing some fascia near the roofline of the house, and installing some new smoke detectors. Again, he was able finish these jobs quickly, knowledgeably and, after returning some unused materials, under his original estimate! We found Shawn to be honest, personable, and professional. He really went the extra mile when he noticed a leak in the kitchen and got it locked down until my husband could come by and address the problem. He was also unhappy with how the paint turned out on the patchwork he had done for us on the first job so he added another coat of paint on his own time so it would look just right. We so appreciated this attention to detail. Shawn is a man who stands by his work, which these days can be hard to come by! We have definitely found "our handyman" and would highly recommend Handyman Express to anyone with a to-do list of projects around the house. I have already given his name to several friends, neighbors, and colleagues and will definitely be calling him again when the need arises.

Absolutely amazing service! Throughout the project, I found Shawn to be professional, responsive and considerate. He made the entire process stress-free for me and my family. I was out of town at the time and really appreciated that he kept me updated, gave suggestions and did a great job. I would definitely consider him for future jobs.
