Built Green Custom Homes (BGCH) was an answer to prayers. We had just moved from Canada to retire wanting to be near family and re-establish roots. At the time we were looking for land and a builder and we were shocked at pricing. When we decided to retire in the Texas Hill Country, we considered different options including building ourselves to buying an existing home. Built Green matched our plans the best and we signed up.We felt confident we had the ability to be our own contractor but needed a “safety net” since it’s been many years since we built our last home ourselves. We didn’t have enough information about subs in our new neighborhood or the current prices for labor or the latest building materials used in today’s market.
