“I got the move-out clean and overall I'm happy with the service. The cleaner was professional and did a great job. Service: Move out clean, 650 sqft, took 1 person about 3 hoursI'm taking away a star for the company's "heavy build-up" policy. When the cleaner arrives, they take pictures of the apartment and send them to the owner, who then decides if the apartment looks like it has places that haven't been cleaned in the last 30 days. If it is determined your apartment has this " heavy build-up", you must pay a $69 "Heavy Duty cleaning fee." This is not listed ANYWHERE in the booking process or in the terms and conditions—I was only informed of this by the cleaner in person. If you decline to pay the fee, the cleaner will clean "to the best of their ability, as if there was standard build-up". Meaning if you don't pay the fee on the spot when the cleaner arrives, you need to either find new cleaners or clean it yourself afterwards.After having a long argument with the owner, I can honestly say that I do not think this fee is malicious (they ended up removing the charge from my bill). However, it definitely needs to be disclosed to the customers ahead of time. The owner told me that I should have called to confirm what coverage was provided with the cleaning after booking, so take that how you will...TL;DR Cleaner did a great job, and I'm happy with it... but I'm not too happy with the company policy. When booking move-out cleans with them, make sure you wipe down surfaces so that they don't hit you with a $69 heavy build-up fee.“
