They checked with Epson to verify my warranty and discovered that I had an extended warranty of two years since I had registered the printer online. I was completely unaware of the extended warranty. I ended up getting a free (refurbished) printer from Epson at no charge. They even loaded up the replacement printer with ink to make sure it was working properly before I picked it up. They went above and beyond. They obviously view customer satisfaction and service as the key to long-term profit. Most people nowadays would have gone for the quick short-term profit.“
