I finally got my hair healthy again and grown out and was ready for a subtle change. I'm so happy I went to Alter! The atmosphere was chill, the staff had a great vibe together and the place had a retro feel to it.
Lauren was an absolute sweetheart. She took her time, was patient, and not pushy. I'm not much of a chatty person when I get my hair done but the light conversation we had was pleasant.
She was running a little behind with the client before me, but she never lost focused or rushed with them. That made me feel even better knowing that I should be in good hands.

Mikayla always absolutely KILLS it with my color and cut! I bounced around to a lot of different salons until I found her and she listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me a realistic expectation, and then made my dreams reality 💅🏻 everything from the perfect shag cut, to vivid colors, to a split dye blonde- I have left feeling like a new woman every time 🤍 I can’t recommend her enough!

I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. Mikayla completely nailed the shade of red I was hoping for it’s vibrant, rich, and suits me perfectly. She really listened to what I wanted and made the whole process so comfortable. The color is flawless, and I’ve already gotten tons of compliments! The entire experience was professional, relaxing, and fun. Highly recommend to anyone looking for stunning color work. I’ll definitely be back! :)
