My father passed away while we were in Houston. I was given a list of local crematories/funeral homes and called a handful. Pricing was pretty consistent but when I called Distinctive Life, it was the person on the other end that helped make my decision. Margaret was sympathetic, responsive and knowledgeable. After I signed the contract, she continued to follow up with me on a regular basis kept me informed the entire time. She guided me through the process from the beginning to the end.
My aunt died unexpectedly and I was in shock. I was closest to her when she passed and I was in a desperate situation. The officers who found her explained that I needed to have a funeral home come immediately because they could not leave until her body was properly claimed. I had never dealt with a death or a funeral home before and didn’t even know who I should call. Thankfully, I chose Distictive Life Cremation and Funeral Services because they had a wonderful rating. Those reviews are not wrong.
