I am a physician myself, so I am quite picky when it comes to choosing a surgeon. I am glad I chose this ortho clinic out of the myriad of choices I had. Scott Spann MD did a surgical repair of a complicated right wrist and arm fracture that I suffered several years ago. I was done perfectly. Because of him, my injuries are healed, and I am back better than ever. Thank you Dr. Spann!
Dr. Spann was incredibly dismissive of my issues. I have had flare ups of pelvic pain since an accident in 2018 and an MRI afterwards showed disc bulges and stenosis. Dr. Spann had me go for another MRI, and called to tell me there wasn't anything of consequence on there, which is great news. The issue came when I asked him where the pain could be coming from then, and he basically acted like I had been making it up. I told him that a recent work experience in which I had been stocking shelves above my head had also left me with some nerve sensations in my shoulder, and asked what I should do about that. Do not see this guy, keep looking elsewhere. Google "Scott Spann." You will see much more bad reviews on healthgrade.com. These are more accurate. Scott Spann does not listen to his patients. He looked at my MRI and said "we all have tears. Go live your life." He didn't take one look at me nor the way I walked. I told him I can't sit for more than a couple minutes without pain, I can't lift more than 20lbs, and have trouble walking. My life consisted of lifting more than 20 lbs and sitting 8+ hours in a day for work.
