“From the moment I walked in, I felt instantly at ease. I was so relieved to see that the rain shower was in the same room as the float tank; it made everything feel seamless and private, which helped me relax right away.

I’ll admit, I had this image in my head of float tanks being these big, dark, egg-shaped pods that might feel a little claustrophobic. But this setup was nothing like that. It was super calming and open, with a beautiful rain showerhead, soft ambient lighting inside the float tank, and even little stars glowing on the ceiling. It was unexpectedly magical.

As soon as I got in, I could feel my body start to let go. It was like a full-body exhale. For the first 30 minutes, I floated in complete darkness, which let me really drop into my senses. Then I turned the lights back on because I just couldn’t resist the gorgeous purple glow and the twinkling stars. It was so warm and cozy... like being hugged by water.

And the floating itself? Unreal. I've never been able to float this effortlessly in my life. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a little water bug skating across a still lake; this is it.“

Shortly after, our massage therapists greeted us and led us to our room. My therapist, Kat, delivered an exceptional deep tissue massage--the most relaxing I've had in a long time.
